Christmas!
Hey! I hope you all had an awesome holiday! This post is going to be somewhat boring because I'm not on my usual computer and don't have access to my pictures, BUTTT I wanted to take this opportunity to brag for a moment about my Christmas haul! I got a few steampunk pieces, which I'm super stoked about. Based on what I got, I'm currently working on some outfits to show you guys soon. (; Also, I got enough money to get either some more ear piercings or my first-ever tattoo! I can't decide what I want. But I'll post pictures as soon as I do. Kiss. <3

Dirty Mirror Shot #4
I know, I KNOW! I haven't updated in forever! I'm sorry! (This is me pretending like I have millions of fans who have been avidly checking my blog every day for updates. I know you don't exist.)
Anyway, here we go. I'll be posting a little more regularly now that my life isn't hell. Senior year kills, kids.
So I picked this little number up at a clothing swap, which is a sweet idea if you're poor like me and want some new clothes! Basically my friend Kacy invited a ton of her friends over, and everyone brought a bunch of clothes that they didn't need anymore, and you could take whatever you want! Can you believe that someone didn't want this dress? Unbelievable.
I totally love this dress. I'm pretty sure it's a vintage piece, but I can't be totally positive because it was homemade and there aren't any tags. But I'm completely in love. I added the brown belt around my waist, and I usually wear this with a pair of brown hiking/combat boots and a jean jacket. I love mixing punk pieces with classic pieces. What do you think?

Dirty Mirror Shot #3
So, haven't posted my looks from the past 3 days, because I've felt kinda sick and didn't look as presentable as I usually am. OKAY!? But I think this look makes up for it. (; It's not really punk, but it's still pretty badass. I wouldn't recommend this look for anyone shorter than 5'5. It could easily overwhelm a shorter person. But it's good for tall people. Haha. (;
Dress: Wet Seal, $20
These heels are not for the faint of heart. Or for the clumsy. They're six inches. Yep. When I wear them I'm about six feet, three inches. They're awesome. I love them. And actually, believe it or not, they're comfy. I can wear them all day with no problems.
Dollhouse, bought at Ross for $30.00
Necklace is one-of-a-kind, my sister made it, bitchezz! The belt's from Wet Seal. About $5 on clearance.

Dirty Mirror Shot #2
So today, my outfit was fairly toned down, for the sake of church and my mother. Luckily my church isn't a Wear-Your-Sunday-Best kinda deal, but I think if I tried to wear my fishnets to church, my mom would have a heart attack (She just about did the day I wore my Lady Gaga necklace. It was BAD.). So here's a good example of an everyday, low-maintenance outfit with punk elements.
Jeans: Almost Famous from Wet Seal
Just scored this motorcycle vest at Wet Seal on clearance for $25.00. Got my combat boots with them for a penny. Sweet deal, yeah? (;
My knockoff Chanel bag. Looks legit, though. This particular one was purchased for me by a friend in Mexico, but honestly, knockoffs are not hard to find. Head to any accessories store (Icing, Claire's, etc.) and you can find something comparable. Once, I got a Coach knockoff wallet at Claire's that looked pretty authentic, and I think I paid $4.00 on clearance for it.
My friend Bri bought this for me for my birthday, so I'm not totally sure where she got it/how much it cost. But like I said, Icing is pretty much my go-to place for any kind of accessories. They're inexpensive and usually good quality. I was at Icing yesterday and saw several things comparable to this bracelet. I love this 'cuz it's pretty but at the same time it's super badass. (;
**My shoes are the same combat boots seen in Dirty Mirror Shot #1.
**My shirts are just a layered black cami and dark grey tank top. Both from Aeropostale.
Stuff I Love: Steampunk
So I've recently been getting into steampunk clothing because I think it's badass and I love the new spin on vintage clothing. Anyway, I discovered this website a few months ago, and the chick who owns it makes custom corsets. And I'm in love. I'm poor and jobless and can't afford one right now, but as soon as I can...look out, world. (; In the meantime, check it out and see why I love it so much.
Also, HOW SICK IS THIS!?!?
Probably gonna try to recreate this outfit later...minus the dreads (Sometimes I wish my hair was long just so I could do dreadlocks). Stay tuned. (;

Dirty Mirror Shot #1
Today, my outfit was pretty generally punk, with some boho influences in the jewelry. Spent the day shopping with my friend Kacy. I was super comfortable all day, and my heather grey Gap dress kept me the perfect temperature on this lovely October day. (;
Army Boots, Wet Seal, $25.00
Can't really remember where I got my owlies...I've had them forever. Luckily owls are super popular now (WHATEVER--I've been into owls for YEARS. Copiers.), so you can probably find similar earrings at Claire's, Icing, Wet Seal, Forever 21, etc...
The bangles: Wet Seal. The necklace: Icing
